Santanta looked at Crystal like she was crazy and said, "It's fine. This is my fault, and you are much more important than this stupid truck." He buckled her seat belt and closed the door. Santanta turned to look at Sky and asked, "Are you coming, or not? If so, get in the back seat." He walked over to the drivers side and climbed in.

Sky shook her head. "Nope." She went back into the house and closed the door. Crystal held onto the back of her head to put pressure on the gash, wincing in pain. "It's not your fault..." She said quietly.

"It is my fault." Santanta replied simply then reached back into the back seat where there was a small rag. He reached over and carefully slid it behind her head, "Here, this might help a bit with the bleeding..." He started the truck and started driving down the street.

"It's not your fault..." She said even quieter, her head feeling light and she began to slip into unconsciousness, her eyes half closing.

Santanta glanced over at her worriedly after he turned the corner onto the main road and headed for the hospital. "Crystal. Crystal, stay awake." Driving faster, Santanta passed a few people and repeated, "Crystal, you need to stay awake."

"But I'm tired..." She mumbles quietly, closing her eyes. Suddenly she jolts awake, her eyes wide open and she sits up straight in the seat quickly. "I'M UP! I'm up..." she said loudly, then her head began to ache from her own loud voice. "Ow..."

"Careful. Take it easy. Just don't fall asleep." He took her hand in his as he spoke, "We're almost there..." Then he realized something was wrong with his right hand, the one he had punched the wall with. It wasn't moving like it should and it looked like it was swelling. He pushed the thought away and focused on getting Crystal to the hospital.

Crystal narrowed her eyes. "I don't want to hear any of your overconfidence crap. When we get to the hospital, your getting that checked out. That's final."

Crystal closed her eyes and didn't answer. Her head began to throb badly and started to bleed more. She held the cloth to her head tighter, the cloth starting to stain red with blood.

Santanta stopped the car and asked, "Is there anything you need help with before I leave? I have to go work at my uncles shop today, or else I would stay."

Crystal shook her head. "I think I'll be alright. Thanks for the ride." She opens the door and hops out of the truck, closing it behind her.

Crystal opened the door and closed it quietly behind her. Sky was sitting on the couch in the living room, watching TV. She saw Crystal coming and asked, "So, what'd they say?" "I have a concussion." Crystal replied simply. "Are you going to die?" "Nope." Sky shrugged. "Alright then." Then she continued watching TV. Crystal sighed irritably. "Nice to know I have a family that cares." Sky wasn't paying attention, and Crystal went in the kitchen and browsed through the fridge, looking for something to eat; the only thing she had eaten since getting a concussion were skittles and chips.

~A little while later!

Crystal went to the kitchen after going to get the pain medication. She read how many pills to take and took them with a glass of water. She sighed and sat down on the edge of her bed, yawning. The pain medication was making her feel tired. She laid down and closed her eyes, falling asleep.

~The Next Day~

Crystal woke up, the morning sunlight streaming through her windows and shining on her face. She squinted, and sat up, rubbing her eyes. Wearily going to her kitchen, she made herself an egg and toast, then sat down on the couch to eat it, turning on the TV and flipping through the channels.

Rave knocked on Crystal's door loudly. "Crystal! Crystal wake up!" Santanta was walking up toward the house, "Why are you here, Rave?" "Why are you here? Fat head." Santanta scowled and walked up to the door and knocked. Rave shoved him, "I was here first. Go away." "Why should I?" "Because I've known her longer than you." Santanta rolled his eyes.

Crystal just finished her breakfast when she heard them yelling at each other outside. She raised an eyebrow, then got up to put the plate in the sink. She opened the door and said to them, "May I help you...? I'm not even dressed yet." She smiles.

Rave grinned from ear to ear and put her arms over her head to express her excitement, "Do you know what day it is!?" Santanta responded flatly, "The day you go back to your house and never come back." Rave put her arms down and shot a glare at Santanta, "Shut up."

Rave shrugged and giggled, "I don't know. But It is the day you should realize I'm a much better friend than fat head over here." She pointed at Santanta lazily with her thumb. "I brought you some more brownies. I was up all night again." Santanta put his hands in his pockets.
