Crystal looked around without raising her head, and barely noticed that much of the snow was sticking to the ground. She perked up and giggled, jumping to her feet and bounding around in the snow.

Santanta glanced at Crystal, who had broken his concentration. He looked back at the water and watched as a few small fish very slowly swam around.

Nightfang appears by Crystals side. "My sister is in distress. It's your nephew... Inga. I would say more but can not. You must comfort her. She is shunning her duties the ancestors have laid out for her. If she doesn't focus the pack will not be ready for what comes."

Santanta perked up and turned to where he heard the voice. He was confused for what was going on because he was gone for so long.

"Since before I was born." She shrugged. "I dunno. I found out about that not long ago, actually. You were gone for awhile."
