Kyle started walking, not really paying attention. He cut someone off, making his way toward a game he saw that might've been interesting. The girl he had cut off, her boyfriend came stomping over to Kyle and grabbed him by the back of the neck.

Rue turned her head quickly and scowled. "Hey, tough guy, let go of him!"

The guy tripped Kyle and shoved him. Kyle stumbled and fell over, landing on the ground hard. The man turned to face Rue and laughed.

"Just, get your ass out of my sight," Rue scowled and turned to Kyle to see if he was okay.

"Oh no! The little girl is gonna hurt us!" The guy said sarcastically, then laughed and walked off with his friends. Kyle grumbled something to himself and got up.

Rue set her jaw, clenching her hands into fists as she watched them walk off. She held back her tongue, knowing it was probably best that she didn't say something that she'd regret. She looked at Kyle again and asked, "You okay?"

Rue bit her lip and shook her head. "I'm starting to hate people." She muttered irritably.

Kyle shrugged, keeping his eyes on the ground, "I don't care."

Rue glanced around. "There's not really much to do anymore." She opened the bag of kettle corn that she was carrying and started eating some again.

Kyle looked at the bag of kettle corn, then at Rue, then at the bag again.

Rue raised an eyebrow. "What? Don't hate." She smiled and put another handful in her mouth.

Kyle held out his hand, "Can I have some?" He still had the munchies, and watched to eat everything.

Rue nodded and held the bag out to him. "You don't expect me to eat all of this by myself, do you? I'm not that fat." She grinned.

Kyle stuffed his face with the handful of them, a few peices missing his mouth and falling to the ground.
