Crystal just stayed silent and looked around. After a few moments she got up and started walking a random direction.

Andrew stood up and followed. "So, what did you usually do in your territory?"

Crystal glanced at him and shrugged. "Well, I mainly just hang around with my friends, but obviously I can't really do that right now..."

"Well, their like friends. I don't really know how to explain it." She thought for a moment. "Well my best friend Rave, she's just really understanding, funny, and a really fun person to be with."

Crystal shook her head as she started walking again. "No, I have a few more friends. I just don't have a lot." She purposely didn't say names.

"Oh. What are they like?" he continued asking. Then he flicked his tail, keeping pace with her and apologized, "Sorry. I don't really have any friends, so... I'm just curious."

Crystal looked at him. "But I thought you were with a group of others that were out here too."

"Right..." She looked down at the floor, walking silently.

"I just usually stay around that group for protection. It's led by a wolf, who has taken us all in when no one else would. He's sort of like a guardian to the rest of us."

Andrew's eyes widened, "Look out!" He grabbed Crystal by the scruff, pulling her sideways quickly as a net swung up into a tree, meant to trap whatever had set it off.

Crystal yelped loudly in shock, looking at the trap quickly. "What was that!?"

Crystal glared at him. "Well, I didn't see it!" She got up and shook herself off quickly. "And that hurt, by the way. I'm not a pup."

Andrew looked down quietly, then said, "We should probably go a different way..." There was a rustling sound in some tall grass near them.

Crystal perked her ears, looking towards the sound of the rustling. She took a step back. "Did you hear that...?" She whispered to him.
