Jace listened to the surroundings quietly. He was exhausted, but couldn't really bring himself to relax enough to go to sleep.

Clary licks under his chin lightly. "Go to sleep. I'll watch everything," She whispers.

Jace nodded and closed his eyes, trying to fall asleep, though he still couldn't shut his mind off.

Clary continues to lick under his chin lightly, and listens to the nature around them quietly.

After a few minutes, Jace's eyes opened quickly and he lifted his head, glancing around.

"You can sleep for more than a few minutes, Jace," Clary whispers.

Jace sighed and laid his head back down. He felt restless, like he just wanted to keep going, but was too tired to move. He closed his eyes again to try and get back to sleep.

Clary licks his chin again, and stands up, walking around slowly.

Clary smirks, and walks around in the bushes, trying to be silent.

A raccoon hurried up behind Clary and bit down on her tail.

Clary growls, and snaps at the creature,, twitching her tail.

The raccoon quickly jumped out of her reach, then moved closer and bit her tail again before jumping out of reach once more.

Clary growls and jumps after it, snapping her jaws quickly.

The raccoon hissed at her and snapped at Clary before quickly climbing a tree to get out of reach.

Clary glares at it, and licks her tail, before curling up. After a few hours, she pokes Jace lightly, and nudges him. "Time to wake up, lug," She teases.

Jace opened his eyes and looked at Clary. His voice was groggy sounding from just waking up, "Why?"

"Because I was just attacked by an evil raccoon," Clary whispers, and nudges him again. "I'll drag you if I have to," She adds.
