The two officers sat Santanta down in the chair again and one went off to talk to the woman at the front desk by the front doors who had called them.

"That is definitely a concussion..." The doctor said quietly to the nurse. The nurse turned the machine off and helped Crystal up, setting her back down into the wheelchair. The doctor sighed and said to Crystal, "You have a moderate concussion. In a few minutes we'll stitch up the gash on your head, but we'll have to keep you here for a little while..." Crystal's eyes widened slightly, then she closed them as her head began to pound.

"Why did you hit her?" The police officer asked Santanta. "What do you mean? I didn't hit anyone." Santanta defended himself.

They led Crystal into the same room she first came to, and she was set down in a chair. The doctor cleaned the gash with some disinfectant, and Crystal winced because it made the cut burn. He put some numbing medicine onto it and got out a needle with some strong thread. Crystal closed her eyes tightly, not wanting to see it. After the doctor finished stitching up the gash, he cleaned it off again and replaced the bandages on her head. Crystal sighed with relief when it was over.

"We'll be the judge of that. We've had plenty of guys just like you who claim to not have done anything, when you're the reason they got hurt in the first place." The officer said rudely. Santanta argued, "I did not hit her!" The officer looked down at him, "Your girl in there is bleeding out because of you and you can't accept that? What a coward." Santanta made his good hand into a fist, getting angrier at each word. "I did not hit her! I wouldn't hit her! You can ask anyone!" The other officer walked back over and said, "Alright that is enough. We're taking you down to the station." Santanta's jaw dropped, "I need to call my sister." The officer started to speak, but Santanta raised his voice, "I need to call my sister! Give me a phone now!" The officer grabbed his arm and pulled him up, walking him toward the doors and the second officer walked closely behind.

Crystal suddenly thought of something, her mind beginning to clear. "Where's Santanta?" She asked the doctor, who glanced at the nurse. "Where is he? Is his hand okay?" She said a little bit louder this time. "You don't have to worry about him anymore," The nurse said to her. "He's going to jail now for what he's done." Crystal looked shocked and confused. "What did he do!?"

[Rave]

Santanta looked at the officer, a desperate look in his eye. He knew this wasn't going to end well for him at all, no matter how much he tried to defend himself. "If you're really taking me, can you have someone give her the movie that is in my front right pocket." The officer stopped pulling him along and looked at him suspiciously. "Don't try any funny business." "I wont!" The officer took the movie from his pocket and handed it to the second officer that was walking behind them. The second officer walked over to the desk and asked where the girls' room was. The lady told him and he started walking toward the room to return the movie to Crystal.

Crystal stood up quickly and said to the doctors. "Where is he? Take me to him. Now"

[Rave]

The first officer continued taking Santanta outside to the police car.
The second officer got to the room and knocked on the door before opening it slowly. "Excuse me? The boy said this movie belonged to you..." He stepped into the room, arm extended, offering Crystal the movie.

[Guest]

Crystal looked at the officer quickly and then looked at the movie, recognizing it. She took the movie cautiously, then asked the officer quickly, "What boy? What's his name?"

[Rave]

"Santanta. The boy we have in custody," the officer explained.

[Guest]

"What!? WHY!?" She blurted out loudly, then covered her mouth quickly, not expecting to be that loud.

[Rave]

"Ma'am, he put you in this hospital. That's why."

[Guest]

Crystal made an almost disgusted look on her face. "No he didn't! He wouldn't! EVER!"

[Rave]

"I'm sorry. We'll be back tomorrow to get your story on what happened. Until then, he will be in our custody."

[Guest]

Crystal narrowed her eyes. "No. Where is he? I want to see him! Now!"

[Rave]

"I'm afraid I can't bring him here ma'am." He replied calmly.

[Guest]

Crystal crossed her arms. "Then bring me to him."

[Rave]

The officer glanced at the doctor and shrugged, asking the doctor, "Is that possible?"

[Guest]

The doctor looked at the officer, then glanced at Crystal. "It should be, as long as she doesn't move too fast..." Crystal rolled her eyes.

[Rave]

The officer looked at Crystal, "Well, alright then. Come on."
Back at the police car, the officer shoved him down into the back seat. Santanta sat in the seat quietly, trying not to lean on his broken hand. He starred at his shoes.

Crystal followed him quickly, though took care not to walk too quickly. The doctor sighed and examined her X-Rays again.

[Rave]

The officer led Crystal out the front doors and to the police car. The first officer saw Crystal and quickly stepped up, blocking his partner and Crystal from getting to the car. "What are you doing?"
The second officer explained, "The girl asked to see him. It'll be quick." The first officer nodded and opened the door, grabbing Santantas arm and pulling him out roughly. Santanta shook the officers hand off his arm angrily, "Keep your hands off me." Then he saw Crystal and his expression changed from his previous anger, to confusion, to a thankful one. "Crystal? What did they say? Are you alright?"

[Guest]

"They said I have a concussion... It's not severe, but its not very good. They said I'm going to have to stay at the hospital for a day or two to keep an eye on me... And I got stitches..."

[Rave]

Now he looked hopeful, "So you're going to be alright?"
