Shadowlight walked into the door and sniffed the air hungrily as he walked into the kitchen. "You know. My mom can cook for us. We are living in her house after all."

Morna pulls up to the Warehouse and gets out, looking at the gate.

Griffon was standing in the entrance to the Warehouse. "Good to see you, Morna!" he said with a smile. Griffon and Josh looked a lot alike in this lighting. Hair so dark it shined in the sunlight, a toothy grin that made them seem more happy than they probably were, and those bright blue eyes. "Come on in and see your husband."
There were men with guns everywhere, standing guard.
Josh was sitting inside the warehouse, bound to a chair, totally out of sight unless you were inside.

Morna walks closer slowly, looking at him.

Morna stops in front of him and studies him silently.

Griffon's friendly smile quickly turned wicked.
Josh was off to the right and when he saw Morna, he called out to her quickly. Just then, the guard standing by Josh stuck a bag over his head, squeezing it tight as another guard stuck a hot chunk of metal against his chest. This made Josh scream, but nothing really came out because he couldn't breathe.

Morna's eyes widened and they started to water. "Josh," She screams, starting to run toward him.

The metal was pushed against him harder, making his slim body writhe around underneath it. The bag was removed from his head and the man tossed the hot metal aside. Josh gasped desperately for air, then cried out in pain as the man with the bag knocked his chair over, that he was still tied to, making him land hard on his side and crush his wrist under the chair. They both then stepped back as Morna came closer.
"Let that be a warning. Just in case Flash decides to not keep her deal," Griffon called to her.

Morna rushes to him and sets his chair upright. She starts trying to break the bonds around him and then hugs him tightly trying to avoid the burns. "Let's get you to a hospital," She whispers and stands up, trying to assist him.

Josh looked like a beaten puppy. He had tears going down his face and very obvious hand prints left on his body in various places. He hugged Morna as he stood, not really having too many issues with his legs. His body just hurt all over, all from a very recent beating that was done solely for the purpose of sending a message.

Morna leads him to the car, opening the back door and gently setting him in it. She climbs into the front seat and swings the car around, hurrying to the hospital.
