Flash pulls at the table cloth quietly again, and sighs, shutting her eyes.

Flash gives a small nod, hiding behind her hair. "Yeah, fine," She whispers, feeling a tear run down her face.

Carter looked out the window by the table, watching people walk by.

Flash takes a deep breath, and wipes her face.

Carter looked at Flash again, then reached across the table and moved her hair from her face.

Flash keeps her head down, and shuts her eyes tighter.

Carter put his hand under her chin and lifted her face, then wiped one of her tears away.

Flash opens her eyes slightly, and watches him. "What are you doing," She whispers.

Carter moved his hand away. "It's okay," he said quietly.

Flash moves her hair behind her ear, and sighs, wiping at her face. "I know," She whispers.

"Oh, and your son is at your apartment again with one of our officers.."

Flash nods. "I'm kinda glad Morna doesn't have him," She whispers, and smiles slightly.

"Why?" He was a little confused.

Flash sighs. "She's not really the kind of person you want around kids. She used to do drugs, got into sleeping around to get the cash for the drugs. Now, she's trying to straighten herself out, since she claims to be in love," She whispers, and shakes her head slightly.

"I'm not sure she is. I mean, I love Josh, he's a sweet kid, but I don't think Morna really loves him," Flash whispers.

"A kid that Blake introduced me to. He lives with his step-dad and his mom," Flash replies calmly.

"Oh." He watched as the waiter put their food on the table.

Flash grabs the burger and bites into it hungrily. "Their sign is right," She mumbles.

"Glad you like it," Carter smiled, eating his fries.

Flash chomps down on the burger, and swallows, groaning. "I haven't ever had a burger this good," She whispers, knowing she had burger bits on her face.

Carter started laughing. "Good," he ate more of his fries. He offered her a napkin, "You've got a little something, on your face."

Flash takes the napkin, and wipes her face quickly, blinking. "Better," She giggles.
