Carter took another drink then watched Flash, asking, "Are you having a good time?"

"Good. Because I-" he paused, thinking. Carter frowned, then smiled again and said, "I and, no. Y-You will have a surprise at the house." He stumbled over his words.

Carter watched Flash, smiling. "You're gorgeous," he complimented.

Carter stood up and looked around. Seeing someone trip and fall, he started laughing quietly.

Flash turns around, and giggles, seeing them fall. She puts her arms around Carter's waist and grins.

Carter, still holding his drink, put an arm around Flash and led her back into the crowd.

Carter went to say something, but a girl slammed into his side, having been pushed by someone else. Her bright red hair stuck out in the crowd and she turned to face them. "Oh, I'm sorry," Emily apologized quickly.

Flash glares at Emily quietly, having recognized her immediately. "Why don't you go crawl back to Blake," She growls.

Emily, confused and not recognizing Flash, asked in a daze, "What?" Carter stood there silently, listening to them.

"You must not recognize me. I'm the one that was at Blake's house, why don't you crawl back to him," Flash snarls.

"Blake is long gone. Last I ever saw of him, was when I went to his apartment and met you. I have no intentions of seeing him again," she said defensively.

"Sure," Flash replies coldly, and looks at Carter, before letting go off him, walking outside.

Emily frowned and disappeared back into the crowd. Carter watched Flash, confused, then put his drink down and followed.

Flash leans against the wall, and sighs, running her fingers through her hair. "I'm sorry. I just needed to get away from it," She whispers.

"The person that Blake used to cheat on me with. Her names Emily, apparently she was also the first one he slept with," She whispers, and wraps her arms around Carter tightly.
