Crystal looked away from him, still smiling, but then she quickly turned back into a frown. She was trying to still seem mad, even though it was actually hard for her to stay mad.

Santanta grinned stupidly and begged, "Please forgive me. It's the middle of winter and really cold outside. It would really suck to freeze to death out there."

Crystal looked at him and raised an eyebrow. After a moment she finally said, "Well... Okay. I trust you. But only because it's Christmas." She smiled.

Santanta shrugged, "I've never really done anything for Christmas either ever sense my mom died. I doesn't really matter very much to me."

Santanta glanced around quietly, then he saw the time on a near by clock and his eyes widened, "Crap! I have to get back to my house or Ama will lock me out."

Santanta smiled widely at that, "That's reassuring." He kissed her then said, "See you later. Maybe." Then walked out the door and took off running down the street. He really did not want to get locked out of his own house!

Crystal smiled then walked down the hall and into her room. She put her pillow up against the back of her bed and relaxed, turning on the TV and flipping through the channels.

A red-headed girl came knocking on the door. She was passing out flyers for her missing puppy. Her multi-shaded red hair was soaked with water from the rain, but she was still going around asking different houses if they had seen the puppy. She knocked on the door again, holding the picture close to her, trying her best to keep it safe from the rain.

(It's the same red-headed girl that Santanta talked to in the place. She looks like the girl in this picture, just without the piercing.)

Crystal grinned, expecting it to be Santanta, thinking he got locked out. She hurried over to the door and started to say, "So, did you-" She stopped, realizing it wasn't him. "Oh, never mind." Suddenly Crystal remembered it was the same girl that Santanta was talking to before. She frowned slightly and said almost rudely, "What do you want?"

Emily stepped back, shivering and a little confused to why this girl seemed to not like her very much. "I'm sorry for interrupting you, but my little puppy ran off a few days ago and I was wondering if you've seen him?" She held the picture out, "Please, If you will just look at the picture, I'll be on my way."

Crystal's expression softened a little and she felt a little bad, but the feeling was quickly shoved away and she glanced at the picture. "No, haven't seen him."

Emily's dark brown eyes filled with tears and she broke down crying. She sobbed while trying to wipe the tears away and tried to explain, "It's just, I've been looking for him ever sense he was gone. I can't find him anywhere and no one has seen him. He is only 8 weeks old and I... I... I think he's dead in some ditch somewhere, and-" She stopped talking when she saw a familiar shape walking down the street. Santanta had his hands in his pockets and his head down while he walked, trying not to slip on the wet ground. Emily perked up and she wiped the tears one last time as a huge smile came to her face, "Santanta!" Santanta looked up quickly and saw Crystal and the red-headed girl from the restaurant place and the blood drained from his face, his face expressionless.

While Emily was talking, Crystal kept feeling worse and worse, but when Emily said Santanta, Crystals eyes widened slightly and her hands clenched into fists.

Santanta quickly turned around and went to walk the other way, hoping to not get caught up in this. Emily took off running toward him, "Hey!" She reached him quicker than you would have expected. Santanta looked up then said, "Oh, hi. I didn't see you." Emily smiled widely, "It's ok. You never called me. What happened?" Santanta wasn't making any eye contact. He was looking at the ground then said, "Oh.. Uhm. You see, I'm kind of.." Emily now looked confused, "What?" Santanta took a slow breath and glanced up toward Crystal's door where she was standing then looked at Emily for the first time during the whole conversation, "I can't hang out with you. I can't talk, either. I'm sort of... Taken." Emily's body expression went from happy and excited to suddenly awkward and self-conscious. "What do you mean?" Santanta remained quiet, looking back at the ground now. He wished that this wasn't really happening. He never actually thought he would see this girl again.
