Santanta thought for a moment, then nodded and pulled a small box out of one pocket offering it to Crystal.

Crystal took the box cautiously, shaking it gently next to her ear before asking, "What is it?"

Crystal opened the box cautiously before smiling widely. "Oh! Thanks!" She exclaimed before taking the necklace and putting it around her neck.

Santanta smiled, "Glad you like it." He glanced around then asked, "Has anyone came up to your house lately? I mean, anyone strange?"

"Just making sure. I don't think anyone will be coming back here any time soon." He looked at Crystal an asked, "You want me to patch those holes now? I have the stuff in my truck."

Crystal nodded, looking around. "If you want. It would be nice." She grinned before nibbling on another candy.

"Okay," he said simply. "You look like a rabbit, eating that necklace," he chuckled and walked out of the room toward the front door.

Santanta walked outside and to his truck, getting the stuff he needed, and carried it back inside. He put it on the floor under the hole that he was going to patch first.

Crystal went into the kitchen, still nibbling on the candy. Sky looked at her oddly. "Where did you get that?" "Santanta gave it to me." Sky grinned. "That's it?" Crystal just shrugged and went to get a glass of water.

Santanta started patching the hole.

Crystal got her water and drank from the glass thirstily. Sky went into her room and closed the door.

Santanta stuck the patch to the wall and put the paste over it to keep it plastered to the wall. He smoothed over the plaster, taking off the extra stuff so it all blended into the wall.

Santanta finished patching the hole, then went to the second hole and did the same thing to patch that one up.
