Siva slided off Roary's back, every one thinks im weak she thought to herself. Siva darted off into the woods quickly, ignoring the pain.

As I wander I come across a large rock, surrounded by trees. I'm in awe as I stare at the marvelous bolder, but as I'm walking, I notice dried blood on the ground, and a horrible stench in the air. I wrinkle my nose as I explore around the rock, seeing more and more dried blood. The smell gets stronger. There was a fight... I think to myself. Once I circle around, I see the rotting carcass of a bear. Instantly I feel woozy, barely able to stand. Then finally I black out, falling on the ground with a thud.

Rave slowly walks from the trees, remembering what happened the last time she came here alone. She sees the dried blood everywhere and her nose starts to feel funny. She sneezes then sees Crystal on the ground and she runs up to her to see if she's ok. "Crystal?" Rave says while poking her shoulder.

I slowly come to, and I jump up, growling defensively, but I remember where I was and who Rave was. I calm down and say, "Sorry, I just, saw the dead bear and..." She started to feel woozy again, but shakes it of. "What happened here?" I ask curiously.

Rave sighs and says, "I did something stupid that got a few wolves hurt..." Rave looks down to the ground then she looks around fast, "Maybe this isn't the best place for us right now. The last time I was here I almost was killed. We should get back closer to the adults. You never know when a bear is going to pop out." Then Rave starts to walk toward the trees then stops and looks back to see if Crystal is following.

Her saying that, makes me look around frantically, then I take off after her, not wanting to be alone.

I pad on after, trying to be as quiet as possible so I don't attract bears.

Rave looks up at the rock, remembering when she was almost caught by the bear. She sniffs the air and looks around where the dead body and dried blood where last seen. They seemed to be gone, so Rave closed her eyes for a few seconds. Slowly opening them, she noticed a bird in the trees. Rave smiled then padded over to the tree and looked up at the bird.

Moonfire walks over to the rock and inhales smelling blood and bear. She cringes and walks to where the smell was strongest and sits down. 'So many bad apples with my people," She sighs shaking her head and looks down. "Why go so bad when you can hunt and fight. It's not winter, why try to kill wolves," She says softly as if talking to a small pup and lies down looking at the trees and picturing a clan of bears foraging through them.

Rave hears someone and turned quickly. She doesn't see anyone so she slowly walks around the rock, until she sees Moonfire. Her ears pin back and she says quietly, "Hi.."

Moonfire spins around quickly her teeth bared. She sees Rave and lets her lips cover her teeth. "Hello,' She replies quietly her dark jade orbs looking around nervously.

Rave jumps back when she bares her teeth. She stutters a little, "A-a-are You o-ok?" Rave slowly steps from behind the rock and sits down.

Moonfire looks down sadly. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I'm just very, how do you say it, jumpy," She says slowly shifting her paws around. "I was just day dreaming," She chuckles looking back at the trees.

Rave nods then looks around a bit. She stands back up and asks, "So you like to hunt? Right? I think hunting is fun." She giggles quietly to herself then pads over next to Moonfire.

Moonfire smiles. "Hunting is easier than what I have learned to do in the past," She replies turning her gaze back to Rave. "Why do you ask," She asks staring at the pup closely.

Rave smiles then says, "I bet I can get a rabbit or bird before you." She giggles then continues, "Some competition? It would be fun!"

Moonfire wags her tail and yips. "Your on. Prepare to be defeated," She says puppishly. "One two three! GO," She barks and darts off into the trees.

Rave laughs and jumped up and runs back around the rock. She looks back up the tree where she saw the bird, then at the rock. Thinking for a moment, she wondered if the bird was still there.

Moonfire stops abruptly and looks in the trees. She smiles and starts to dig. Once she gets a hole the size of her body, she lies down in it and watches the trees closely. She spots a raven pecking at the ground and lungs at it grabbing it by the tail feathers. She puts her paws on it's body and grabs it's head snapping it's neck.

Rave turns around and digs into the dirt. She sees her old dead rabbit carcass half frozen from the winter. She giggles and picks it from the whole and pushes the dirt back over it. The rabbit carcass was dirty and hard with sticks and mud on it. She dropped it and sat down, waiting for Moonfire to get back and hoping she wouldn't notice it was old.

Moonfire jumps out of the hole and walks back to the rock the raven in her jaws. "Nice catch," She says dropping the raven an sitting down. "If you want I could teach you how to build muscle so you could run faster," She says thoughtfully.

Moonfire smiles and stands up. "Come over here. I always climb the trees in order to keep my self strong," She chuckles and starts climbing up the pine quickly and quietly.
