"Oh this is just great..." Santanta complained to himself. He struggled more, trying to get out.

"NO! WAIT! I got this!" She looked around in the ditch, then got an idea. She began to dig quickly in the snow towards Santanta, making a little tunnel in the snow.

Santanta perked his ears up, "What are you doing?"

"Escaping!" She said, still slowly digging her way under the snow to Santanta. She was now out of the ditch and completely under the snow, the ice frozen enough to hold as long as there wasn't a lot of weight over it.

Santanta struggled more to get out, wiggling his body around in the snow.

Crystal kept digging until she thought she was underneath Santanta. She grinned and began to dig upward, so it would make the snow give with Santanta's weight.

Santanta suddenly went loose and fell down, landing on Crystal.

"Gah!" Crystal gasped when he landed on her. She couldn't breath because he was heavy.

Santanta struggled, but managed to move over so he wasn't squishing Crystal. "Sorry."

Crystal gasped for breath. Once she caught her breath, she managed to say, "You're... Heavy..."

"I am?" Santanta replied sarcastically.

"Yes, you are." She sits up and looked around in the tight space. "So... Now what?"

Santanta pushed himself awkwardly around Crystal and went over to the whole where she had landed in the first place. He jumped up, trying to grip hold of the side, but it just sunk in more.

Crystal followed him. "So, are we just stuck underground now?"

"No... I hope not. It has to go up somewhere." He continued trying to climb out, but each step was pushing the snow deep again.

Crystal jumped out of the ditch, but the snow ended up collapsing. Her expression brightened. "This is kinda fun."

Santanta kept trying to get out when suddenly he felt the snow get strong and he easily pulled himself out. "Ha! I made it!"

Crystal's ears flicked back. She jumped over the side again, the snow sliding slightly, but held. She quickly bounded away from the ditch. "Me too!"

Santanta walked back toward the rock saying, "I am not doing that again."

"Me neither." Suddenly the snow gave way from under Crystal, from her accidentally walking over the tunnel she had made.

Santanta burst out laughing. After a moment, he calmed down and asked, "You alright?"

Crystal stood up and shook the snow off of her fur. "I'm fine." She said quickly.

"Nope." She jumped out of the ditch quickly, then scampered away from it.
