Erin went into the office. Rave looked up and picked up the box of cupcakes, "Happy birthday!"

Crystal smiled when she saw, her eyes brightening. "Are those for me!?"

Rave smiled, putting them on the desk, "Yep." One of the guys who worked in the kennels, his clothes covered in dirt and sweat dripping from his forehead, walked in from the back door. "Cupcakes?!" His eyes brightened and he reached for one.

Crystal eyed the man and smacked his hand quickly, pulling the box closer to her. "Hey! These are mine!"

Danny frowned. Rave laughed. Erin grinned, "Yea, Danny. Get back to the kennels." Danny rolled his eyes, then said to Crystal, "Happy birthday, by the way." He offered his hand for her to shake it, "I'm Danny."

Crystal glanced at his hand before shaking it quickly. "I'm Crystal." She said simply, then sighed reluctantly while holding out the box, "You can have one if you want..."

Danny smiled widely and took one, "Thanks." Rave shook her head and flicked Danny on the nose. Danny stepped back, laughing, "What?!" "Those are for her." "She offered," he laughed.

Crystal watched them and smiled, before getting another cupcake and taking a bite out of it quickly.

There was loud barking coming from the kennels and Danny quickly put the cupcake down on the desk, rushing back out the door. Rave frowned, looking at the cupcake. Erin laughed and sat down.

Crystal looked at him oddly before shrugging and eating the rest of her cupcake quickly.

Rave got up after a moment, and said, "Alright, come on. You are done working for the day. You are coming with me." Rave walked toward the door.

Crystal's eyed widened and she almost dropped the cupcakes all over the floor, but caught herself quickly. "He IS!?"
