Crystal was still leaning her back against the door when he knocked. She looked through the peep hole before smiling and opening the door. "Hi!"

Brian looked surprised and said in a mocking cheerful, "Hi." He laughed, then asked, "Can I come in?"

Brian looked at the time on his phone and shrugged, "Yea, I guess." He walked in.

Crystal closed the door behind him. "So, no offense but, why are you here?"

"I was leaving someone's house from down the street. I saw you running into your house and wanted to make sure you were okay," Brian answered.

Crystal sighed. "I'm fine. I was with my friend at some club when these guys came in and shot a few people in there... So, of course I was running." She couldn't help but grin.

Crystal shook her head. "No. My friend just told me to go home, fast. Other people had called the cops, though."

Brian nodded, "Wow. That's intense. Do you know who the guys were?"

Crystal shook her head. "No. But Flash seemed to know. I didn't really want to find out, actually." She went to the living room and sat down on the couch, sighing.

Brian followed, looking around. "Do you have any plans tomorrow?" He sat in one of the chairs.

Crystal shook her head. "Not really. I'm still waiting to get a call from the Shelter to see if I got that job or not..."
