Flash backs out of his driveway, and turns up the radio, which she never did.

Flash drives home, for the first time in a long time glancing at where she used to keep her stash.

Carter answered his phone and listened. His eyes widened and he grabbed his keys and gun, rushing to the truck. He stayed on the phone, listening, as he drove off.

Carter pulled up in the drive way and shut off the truck. He looked sideways at Flash and asked, "I thought you said he was dead."

"I thought he was. He was shot, and lost so much blood," Flash whisprs, and climbs out of the truck.

Flash looks at Carter. "Yeah. I might bruise, but there isn't any damage," She whispers, and rubs her next keeping Dylan close to her side.

"What about Dylan? And did you see where Blake went?" Carter asked, opening the front door.

Flash checks Dylan over quickly. "He's good. And no. The last thing I remember hearing from him was him trying to find me," She whispers, and rushes in the door.

Carter closed the door and locked it, glancing out the window. He unloaded his gun and put it on the kitchen counter. Carter walked back over to Flash and looked down at Dylan.

Flash sits down on the couch, and puts Dylan in her lap, watching him quietly. Dylan opens his eyes and yawns, looking around. He claps at glances at Carter.

Carter sat down and watched Flash now. He shook his head and said finally, "I'm sorry."

Flash looks at him calmly. "It's fine," She whispers, turns Dylan so he was resting against her stomach.

Flash looks at him, and blinks. "Why," She asks, not knowing what he meant.

"I talked with my boss and after a very, serious, conversation he is letting me stay in town. Stay here, with me. I think I'm falling for you, and I know it's wrong, and I know I really shouldn't, but I can't help it anymore. Stay with me," the words came out rushed and he watched her nervously, unsure what she'd say.

Flash stares at him wide-eyed for a few minutes, before setting Dylan down beside her and hugging Carter quietly. "I will," She whispers.
