Buddy turned his head and smiled when he saw her. He layed there and just watched her for several minutes before sitting up. It still caused him pain but not like before. He then swung his feet around slowly and decided to try and stand.

Diane grunt and opens one eyes, studying Buddy's back.

As soon as he put weight on his left leg he crumpled to the ground. "Dammit!" he cursed under his breath.

Diane catches him before he could fall completely and pulls him back into bed. "Stay in bed, Buddy," She whispers, and snuggles into his chest.

Buddy sighs. "looks like I have no choice." he chuckled. "I'm at your mercy." he turned his head to look at her as he layed down again.

Diane giggles and kisses his cheek lightly. "I like the sound of that," She whispers and sits up slightly.

Buddy watches her curiously.

Diane smiles and sighs. "Are you hungry? I think I have some soup or something," She whispers, absently tracing patterns on his chest.

Buddy shivered at the touch. "For breakfast?" he pointed out. "Don't you have some cereal?"

Diane shrugs. "Yeah, but I'm not sure if you'll like any of it, its mostly for the kids," She whispers and watches him quietly.

"Try me. I eat pretty much anything." he smiled.

Diane giggles and sits up, stretching. She crawls over Buddy and yawns. "I'll go fix you something to eat," She whispers and kisses him lightly.

Buddy smiled and kissed back softly. "Alright. I'll be here." he chuckled.

Diane smiles, and walks toward the kitchen quietly. She grabs a few boxes of cereal, a bowl, and the milk, and heads back to her room.

Buddy was looking at his wounds where she came back and frowning. "I think when I tried to get up I opened one of my wounds when I fell." he said showing her some blood on his hand.

Diane nods, and grabs a first aid kit off her dresser. "Nothing we can't handle," She whispers, and pulls out some bandages.

"I think it might be my leg. I didn't realize how bad he got me there." he said showing her where the blood came from.

Diane nods. "Just relaxes. If you tense up, that's giving the muscles more blood," She whispers and starts to bandage it.

Buddy nodded and leaned back watching her wrap his leg.

Diane finishes and smiles, pulling the blanket back up the cover him. "So, which cereal do you want," She asks, and holds out the few she had grabbed.

buddy looked at them thoughtfully. "They all look fine. Surprise me." he closed his eyes giving her a playful smile.

Diane smiles, and pours some of each cereal into the bowl, putting some milk in it. She gets up, and grabs a spoon out of the kitchen, putting everything in it's place. She walks back into the room and sits beside Buddy. "Food," She smiles.

Buddy opened his eyes and chuckled. "Well this certainly is a surprise. Daines mix." he joked.

Diane smiles, and rolls her eyes. "Eat up. After that, you can get dressed, so I can move you into the living room, so you don't get bored out of your mind, watching me draw," She smiles.

Buddy smirked. "i'd be fine with that." he then took the bowl from her and started to eat making sure not to spill.
