Ama pressed the button to go to the 4th floor and it took them up. The elevator doors opened and Ama hurried down the hall, looking for room 426. She found it, but a nurse stopped her from going in. "Not now." "What's going on in there? Please! He's my brother." The nurse nodded and explained, "He's going in an out of consciousness. Already he has vomit twice, both had blood in it. So far the doctor isn't sure what's wrong but they're trying to figure it out."

Crystal bit her bottom lip, looking between the too worriedly.

Ama nodded as the nurse walked away. She leaned against the wall, covering her face with her hands. "This has been the worst week in the history of weeks," she said quietly.

Crystal looked down at the floor, her eyes watering. "I know..."

The doctor walked from the room and turned to them, "Hi, I'm Dr. Slaughter. You are?" "I'm Ama. Santanta is my brother. Do you know what is wrong with him?" "No. It could be several different things. We have to send a sample of his blood off to a lab to figure out what it is exactly. We think it's some sort of poisoning."

Crystal looked at the doctor quickly. "Well, do you think he'll be okay...?"

"That depends on what it is. We don't know for sure yet. We won't know for sure until the results from the test come in."

Crystal looked down at her feet again. "Oh..."

The doctor nodded, then said, "You are free to see him now, if you wish. But first you'll need to put on these gloves and face masks, in case what he has is contagious. It's possible that what he has could be deadly, so be cautious and try not to touch him." Ama's eyes were watering when she heard the word deadly. She nodded and quickly took a mask from the small box and put it over her nose and mouth, wrapping the strings around her ears. She also put the gloves on and walked in slowly.

Crystal bit her lip as she watched, leaning her back against the wall. She didn't want to see him how he was. Her eyes started to water, so she rubbed them quickly.

Ama quickly walked over to him. Santanta's eyes were barely open and he was wheezing with each breath. He felt nauseous and didn't really want to move. Ama walked over to him and shook her head, "You idiot. You are such an idiot. Why can't you just tell someone when you're not feeling well?" Santanta moved his eyes to look at Ama, but didn't say anything.

Crystal listened to them from outside the room silently. She looked down at the floor.

Ama continued, "You are too confident that nothing bad will happen to you. But that's just it! There's always something different happening. And do not blame it because Dad use to be friends with Griffon, and somehow Griffon got addicted to you, Blah blah blah, etcetera! Because I know that is crap. You got yourself into these things. You got close to Griffon. You made him admire you. Gosh! You are so stupid!" Santanta didn't say anything. He just watched his sister quietly, taking in what she was saying.

After a minute, Santanta spoke. His voice was hollow and quiet, "Why are you talking about Griffon? I'm sick, Ama. I wasn't jumped." Ama shook her head, "Because everything that happens to you is because of Griffon! Who's to say that they didn't do this to you when you were taken this morning?" Santanta closed his eyes, "Can you please talk quieter. You're hurting my head."

Ama sat down and asked calmly, "What all did the doctor tell you?" "He said that they don't know what it is. They took my blood and are sending it to a lab to find out what's wrong with me. He said it could be several different things, but they think it's most likely either M... M? I don't remember what he called it, but it started with an 'M'." Ama nodded.

"Where is everyone?" he asked. "At the house, still. I think Eric is coming." "What about Crystal? Where is Crystal? Is she alright?"

Crystal sighed quietly, chewing on her bottom lip.

"Crystal's fine, you nut. You're the one in the hospital bed, not her." Santanta narrowed his eyes, "I don't care. Where is she?" "She was out in the hall. Whether she's still there or not, I don't know." Santanta sat up, making an odd noise as his stiff neck turned to look around. "No, lay back down," Ama ordered him. Santanta shook his head, "No, I'm going to find her."

Crystal looked at the door and stood up, hearing them inside. Ignoring the request to put on the gloves and face masks, she opened the door slightly and peeked inside. "Is everything alright in there...?"

Santanta turned to see Crystal and relaxed some, "Oh." "Yea, oh," Ama smirked. "Now lay back down."
