Crystal looked at him calmly. "I know..."

"You should go home and get some sleep," he continued.

Crystal sighed. "Will you be okay...?"

Santanta didn't say anything. He didn't have an answer to that. "I'll call you if anything happens," Ama offered.

Crystal glanced at Ama, then looked back at Santanta. She gripped his hand. "Promise me you'll be alright."

Santanta hesitated, then nodded, "I promise you, I'll be alright."

Crystal watched him for a moment before sighing. She let go of his hand, then pointed to Ama, "If anything goes wrong, call me." She took off the gloves and mask before opening the door and walking down the hall.

Santanta watched her leave and closed his eyes. "Ama..." "Just go to sleep, alright?" He didn't say anything, just kept his eyes closed until he fell asleep.

Crystal glanced back before walking out of the entrance. Then she realized that she didn't have a ride home.

Ama leaned back in her seat, looking at her phone.

Crystal paced at the entrance for a minute before sighing and walking down the street toward her house.

Ama fell asleep soon after he had.

-The next morning-

Ama opened her eyes and looked at the still sleeping Santanta. She reached over and poked him in the cheek, "Santanta? Wake up, you lazy sack of potatoes." He didn't move. Ama looked at him oddly. "Santanta?" She stood up and saw he was breathing, so that was okay. She shook him lightly, "Santanta? Wake up." He still didn't move. Ama quickly rushed out of the room and grabbed a doctor by the arm, "Excuse me? Where is Dr. Slaughter?" "He's in the E.R. Why? Is something wrong?" "My brother isn't waking up." The doctor looked concerned and walked into the room...

-After about 2 hours-

The doctor looked at Ama, who was sitting in a chair in the hall. "He's in a coma." Ama's eyes widened and she lost her breath. Her body coiled together as she bent at the waist, putting her forehead on her knees as she started crying.

Crystal got to the hospital after several minutes, rushing down the hall and toward Santanta's room.

[Rave]

Ama stood outside the room. The door was closed. She was sobbing, her arms cradling each other.

Crystal saw Ama and walked toward her quickly with wide eyes. "What happened!?"

[Rave]

Ama looked at Crystal, the sobbing stopping instantly. After a moment, tears started streaming down her face again and she looked miserable. "He didn't wake up this morning," she said through her tears.

[Guest]

Crystal froze, turning her head and looking toward the door to his room. "So... He's, dead?"

[Rave]

Ama shook her head, "Dear God, no. He's in a coma."

[Guest]

Crystal almost collapsed in relief, but she quickly grew concerned. "What's wrong with him!?"

[Rave]

Ama caught her breath and shook her head, "They don't know."

[Guest]

Crystal looked down at the floor, tears welling up in her eyes.

[Rave]

"They say they can't start any treatments until they get the results back. So right he's still just getting worse and worse, and they aren't doing anything to help." Ama wiped tears from her cheeks.

[Guest]

Crystal scowled as she rubbed her eyes. "Doctors are so stupid..." She mumbled, more to herself. Tears started running down her cheeks.

Ama's arms wrapped around herself again and she looked to the ground.

Crystal leaned her back against the wall, her face falling in her hands.
